Materials

  • Hot glue
  • Cardboard (sized to the width of one lasagna noodle and the length of two lasagna noodles)
  • Lasagna noodles, uncooked (1-2 full pieces)
  • Rigatoni noodles, uncooked (10 full-circle tubes)
  • Bowties, uncooked (as many as you’d like for accents)
  • Rotini, uncooked (as many as you’d like for accents)
  • Spray paint

Directions:

  1. Using hot glue, adhere the lasagna noodles to the cardboard to make it sturdy.
  2. For the center “candle,” use hot glue to attach two stacked upright rigatoni noodles to the center of the lasagna-covered cardboard. Line up 4 rigatoni noodles to the left of the center “candle,” spacing evenly, and hot glue into place. Repeat on the other side with the remaining four rigatoni noodles.
  3. Once the noodles are dry, decorate the edges of your pasta menorah as desired using bowtie and rotini noodles.
  4. Let your pasta menorah dry overnight, and then spray paint it thoroughly to create a finished presentation. Let the spray paint dry as directed and then display.
